The Riverina Citrus Strategic Plan is written in accordance with the requirements of Section 15 of the Agricultural Industry Services Act 1998.

The committee reviews the plan on a yearly basis, and currently outllines strategies for:

1. Improved Grower Orchard Management
2. Increase Consumption of Citrus from the Riverina
3. Increase Market Access for Riverina Citrus
4. Improve Knowledge of Citrus Throughout the Supply Chain
5. Increase Citrus Knowledge within the Riverina
6. Reduce Duplication Throughout the Industry
